It basically has no downsides ,it would help reduce the cost of operation and also it would make it so every server can take care of ddos protection themselves (or even anticheat and banning cheaters) further decreasing costs and also it would be good for the community

A lot of the announcement seems to be around server costs / money. Has Battlebit explored the idea of letting server hosting companies host servers that the community then pays for to host/own a server of their own? This would populate the server list and would reduce cost on the developer would it not? (I'm not 100% sure on this and could just be talking outta my butt).

So here we are in the final development stage (kind of but you guys know what I mean 😄 ) of the BattleBit project (includes the legacy version). I have a few questions:
- Can you tell me how you feel during this process?
- Can you share with everyone here what was the hardest decision you've ever made during this time? (this is OPTIONAL)
- I once heard that you guys said you guys will keep adding content until we beg you bois to stop. Was that true 😄 And if it is true, so I guess that is the moment you guys make Steam workshop right?

If servers cost so much money to host, why dont you allow players to host their own servers from the start?
About helicopters, will they be with missiles or what? Or is it possible to somehow change the helicopters for yourself?
Couldn't you allow players to host their own servers and therefore lower the costs of services? These servers wouldn't have impact on overall stats, but could be a real savior at least for early access.
Have you considered getting a proper publisher to help out with funds, promotion and overall management of the game?
and before anyone says anything, I'm not talking about EA, Ubisoft etc. for obvious reasons.
I was more talking about those smaller sized publishers that help out while granting almost full creative freedom with (presumably) no compromises, for example:
- 11 Bit studios (beat cop, moonlighter, children of morta, etc.)
- Coffee Stain publishing (goat simulator, Midnight ghost hunt, Vallheim, Deep Rock Galactic)
- Devolver Digital (A literal fuck ton of good games, but cult of the lamb is a recent notable one)

Will Australia have servers or not? We don't want sea or anything like that, it would be awesome to have oce servers based in Australia. We know hosting in Australia is very costly so I understand that the current income from your backing probably won't cover it but it's worth asking....and keeping hope.
are you scared of costs (of all types)? you talked about how much servers and protection cost in the first months, but are you scared of the costs in long terms? like 2-3 years
Why do you feel the need to end the Patreon? I feel that most people still would love to support the game and Patreon is great since its a smaller cost every month, and as you said you'll need some sort of monthly income since you aren’t planing on micro transactions and such. Do you guys have something else planned so that you can get money once most of the player-base has bought the game?
Have you guys considered finding investors to support the game; I feel that you could generate a lot of capital due to the hype around your awesome game 😄

Why not allow the community to buy/host dedicated servers to bring down your server costs, while maintaining a master server that manages player accounts, progression, etc.? Wouldn't this also assist your anti-cheat efforts?

CoD Warzone has laser guns for some cosmetics, however they also have bullet tracers and dismemberment effects i understand laser guns probably wont be added as cosmetics but will we ever see bullet tracers, dismemberment/ kill effects or reactive/ animated camos and will these skins have the ability to be traded on the market similar to rust's skin system?

Is it planned to change the mechanics of life / repair of vehicles (Today, for my part, I find the armored vehicles too weak.)
what is planned in the future for private servers? At the level of moderation and freedom for those who would use them. Can they use custom maps? Custom game modes (like an infected mode) and what moderation tools are there to maintain order on this kind of server. Will admins be able to fly, to be invisible, in spectator, will he have access to personalized and customizable commands. to do more or less funny things.

A technical question, so please answer if/however possible - given the current state of the game server software: is there a particular resource type (CPU usage - general game logic? networking/protocol layer? excessive bandwidth usage? memory usage inefficiencies?) that poses a challenge on further scaling and/or server hosting cost reduction and if so, do you see room for improvement? do you have plans for improvement?

A) 100 and no armor

As part of the game development, can we expect the weapon loadout to be tied exclusively to said faction? For example, Russia gets their AK’s/Chinese firearms and RPG. While the US get the M4s or any NATO issued firearms as well as their own NATO issued rocket launchers.
any plans for mod support? this seems like a no brainer seeing as the game has already garnered a large enough player base while not even being out yet & based off the fact its a voxel game which allows for a low barrier to entry in terms of making custom art, models, maps, textures, etc... giving the already large community the tools to create custom content (weapons, vehicles, maps, cosmetics, equipment, etc) will prolong the lifespan of this game 1000x over and seems like it can only benefit the game in terms of allowing players to create their own content in-between waiting for official updates among a variety of other cool things that could spawn from the modding community.

Since there is a possibility of adding the XM5 rifle, is the complementary optic being created for it (XM157) also going to be included in the game? If you don't know how it works then it's like a rifle version of the fire control system on tanks.
As an idea for anti helicopter gadget: make a stinger (aa missile, launched by soldier) that flies very fast (kill is guranteed if pilot cannot deploy countermeasures fast enough) too balance it, it could be a upgrade drop (2 shots, cannot be refilled) or like bf4 a weapon create scattered on the map
