Hi im experiencing a lot of lag in my minecraft server, i wasnt experiencing this before until i added a mod for guns which breaks the game a bit and causes a lot of lag in some chunks of the world. i also noticed the server is running on 6.11/6gb (it has been from the start even before the lag) i was wondering if increasing the ram would help or should i just remove the mod causing issues? i really like this gun mod as it helps a lot with the theme of our server so i hope theres a way to work around it, any help is appreciated

okay, then a spark report will give more info. Make sure to run spark only when the server is actually lagging otherwise it won't collect useful data

Spark
How to provide a Spark sampler.

  1. Stop your server.
  2. Download Spark: https://spark.lucko.me/download
  3. Upload the mod to your server:
Filemanager > mods (for modded servers)
or Filemanager > plugins (for plugin based servers)
(Just drag & drop the file)
  4. Start the server.
  5. Use the command /spark profiler --only-ticks-over 70
  6. Wait 10-15 minutes.
  7. Use the command /spark profiler stop
  8. Copy the link it generates and paste it here.

your TPS is perfectly stable at 20 all the way through. I see there was only 1 player online

did you actually experience lag during recording of the spark profile?
