how to add certain mod to my server and get it up and running

i wanna add danny's aot mod to my server

but idk which instance to use

and what files to add

im guessing i need to add the dependencies too?

and id also like to have plugins if possible

Hey there. First of all, kindly don't spam. If you have multiple questions make a single message as currently it's very difficult to follow exactly what you want.

If you want to add mods to an already existing modpack, you can just add the mods to the mods folder. Make sure to check it does belong on the server (some mods are client side only), and ensure to also install all its dependencies with the correct versions.

For plugins, modded servers don't know what a plugin is and they won't load. Whilst there technically are hybrid loaders, they are highly discouraged, especially for new server owners. They tend to break more than they solve, and often you can instead install a mod that does the same thing as the plugin would do, without all the hassle of trying to make a plugin work on a modded server

okay sorry ur right, i want to add a mod i selected the latest forge instance 1.21.1 and loaded the server for the files to show up closed it then put the mod and all its dependencies that i installed with the correct version but it still wont work
