So me and my friends have been playing a server for around 2 weeks, and we really only have one mod, storage drawers. We just chose Forge as the loader, because we didn't know that would limit us in our mod selection, especially litematica.
So my question/questions are can we change the loader without it ruining the mod we already have, and does it ruin the world generation? we are thinking we could just change it, but we are kinda scared to do it without, "expert help"
We are playing on the 1.21.10 version if you need that information

no, mods must match the mod loader as well as the minecraft version. you will need to rebuild your pack to be for fabric and then change your server to fabric etc.
and then !custommodpack
!custommodpack
Or, send our 24/7 support team an export of the modpack. We'd be happy to upload it to your server!
so if we were to download the same mods, would they still function, or would they be removed?
if you change the server to fabric, the mod will also have to change to fabric. a forge compiled mod with not work on a fabric server. so the you need to find a copy of the mod also compiled for fabric. most mod authors these days will compile for both, but it won't be inside the same mod.
my article guides you thru this process, when you choose fabric, then find again the mods in question, the correct mod loader version will get installed, from there you can make the server steps.
