I had looked up how to add mods to a bisect server and found an offical video. The guy said to "add them to the mods folder" but in my files tab I dont have a mods folder. I do have a plugins folder. Am I able to just make a mods folder?

It sounds like you're missing a step and don't have a modloader installed yet.

Have you already installed forge/fabric/neoforge/ect?

Curseforge isn't a modloader. They host modpacks. Did you install a modpack from the Minecraft Jar menu?

i downloaded a modpack from curseforge and inputted via winscp

Check out this article linked below, at the top are the instructions for installing a modloader first. Then you can add your modpack.

Alternatively, send in a support ticket with a link to the modpack on CurseForge, they may be able to install it for you.
