#Server stuck on start up
40 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
CIT resewn is a client side only mod and will crash the server :)
Thank you!! I will try with removing it
Still running into some issues. I had found other client side mods in the pack and removed them from the server yet I still cannot get it to boot up. Does it have to do with the datapacks? Here is the current logs
Nope, oculus
Also just to make extra sure, the latest log is called "latest.log"
This could be an older log :)
Ah, thanks. Here is latest. I had also removed Oculus earlier but it still was running into some troubles.
Wait it jsut updated again, one moment
it seems something is wrong with bclib and it trying to load it's worldgen presets
the datapacks within bclib show that it fails to read
Should I try removing that one from the server?
Just checking in. Is there something I could do with the datapacks to troubleshoot?
I myself have never seen such error so I’m unsure what causes it
Did you upload the modpack yourself? Or did you select it from the jar menu
I had uploaded it myself. I'm thinking of trying to maybe re-upload the mod pack or try a different one and see if it works. Another friend who is more familiar with servers than I am said he could give it a look.
Should I leave the ticket open or would you like me to close it for now?
How exactly did you upload it?
Make sure you create an account for them to have access, do not share your password.

Alright, will do. PC is booting up
I uploaded through the STFP console. I was following one of the article guides on the main bisect website.
ye
I got an account, do I just share the username? or do I add a sub user?
It is recommended to add a sub-user for additional access rather than sharing your main account username. This allows you to grant specific permissions while keeping your account secure.
May I be of further assistance?
Oh wrong message
Always add a sub user if you want somebody else to have access to something, never share your own credentials :)
Wouldn't be the first person to have their account/server hijacked after a falling out with a friend😅
Okay, ty!! it says I need a user email to add. Do I just put all permissions?
If you're okay with them having all of those sure! Otherwise you can scroll through it and uncheck anything you don't want them to be able to do
Alright, thanks. I had opened my DMs in case any of the mods needed to send their email for me to add them.
I don't think the mods were offering to be added (and please don't add anyone that DMs you out of the blue
) but since you mentioned adding your friend?
Ahh, okay. Thank you for the clarification
If you need somebody else to take a look, that's what ticket staff is for, they have access to all servers and can help
