Also, there are reasons to communicate solely via the ticket - it keeps the history of the conversation in one place.

If they move here, they'd have to copy/paste or summarize the conversation into the ticket for recordkeeping.

Okay, I get that! I haven't used the site before, and it seemed bare bones on the communication end, so I was just trying to be proactive
