#Latency issues running Cisco's RPG Ultimate on a Server

not sure what i said but okay
😭 I just checked the deleted messages that was such a unfortunate typo
Instead of 'disk' you typed something else
that the bot flagged as a bad word
🤦♂️
So I had purchased a server the other day to play Cisco's with some friends. The first day or so it was running smoothly but I noticed that the last 2 days there's been some latency issues that are noticeable when eating, breaking blocks, animals walking around, etc. the server is currently running 7.04MB/16MB of memory, about 6%-8% CPU load, and 1.3GB disk usage. Tried looking around to see if I could find anything to help fix it but no luck
Here it is with the correction!
appreciate it
oh im also constantly getting this message in the console screen as well
You could run a spark report when the server is lagging, that can help us narrow down where its coming from! :)
!spark
Spark
How to provide a Spark sampler.
- Stop your server.
- Download Spark: https://spark.lucko.me/download
- Upload the mod to your server:
Filemanager > mods (for modded servers)
or Filemanager > plugins (for plugin based servers)
(Just drag & drop the file) - Start the server.
- Use the command /spark profiler --only-ticks-over 70
- Wait 10-15 minutes.
- Use the command /spark profiler stop
- Copy the link it generates and paste it here.
i tried that but i wasnt fully sure what to download or where to put it because i had done what it tells me to there but i tried in game and on the console screen but it said the command was unknown
You'd download the mod for Forge 1.19.2, since thats what the modpack is on, then stop the server, upload it to the servers mods folder, start the server again.
If its the right version and in the right place the command should work, otherwise we can help troubleshoot from there with logs
Yeah they dont list them all on the website but itll link to curseforge where you can find all versions
And am I using the command from the console screen or while in game?
if youre /op, you can use it in game, you can always run it in the console.
yeah I got it, it's running right now
