therefore if you have tried it and it's not working right, then open a ticket.

You have to manually install snapshots of Arclight - only releases are in the Minecraft Jar menu for easy-install.

Bisect cannot guarantee that Arclight does not release a broken jar.

#

Somebody yesterday or the day before installed a recent snapshot and it worked, though. So if the most recent one doesn't work a previous one will

@tawny edge considering that Arclight is a partner, that tells me if you install a snapshot of it and it doesnt' work, you can reach to the Arclight team and let them know.

I have used a lot of arclight and the most stable one is arclight forge
It still doesnt support a few plugins like world edit, lifesteal and a few others

tawny edge
#

If anything I'll buy the cheapest package to give it a test

#

In the process of finding a new host since my old one doesnt support newest versions of Arclignt NeoForge.. looking for something stable enough to handle >75 players on a modded weather server

Bisect allows you to use whatever server jar you want - so the issue would entirely be whether or not the build from Arclight actually works.

and world edit is a mod too

#

there's a lot you won't have to optimize if you go pure modded.

tawny edge
#

Arclight so I can also run Spigot plug-ins

hearty depot
#

That's the opposite of what Kree asked - You need NeoForge, since that's what the modpack runs on. But why do you need Arclight instead of plain NeoForge?

#

(sorry, I saw your original reply right before the bot got it.)

tawny edge
#

yeah haha, I figured you saw it since it was auto modded

hearty depot
#

But which plug-ins? A lot of them have NeoForge equivalents that wouldn't require Arclight.

tawny edge
#

I run another server now with Arclight + Forge, I currently run a few mods w/ spigot plugins mixed in for some balancing and gameplay entertainment

#

Main ones are BetonQuest, DeluxeMenus, DeluxeCommands, EssentialsX, LuckPerms.. etc

#

Ill send the plug-in list when im home from work

#

I've never used NeoForge nor have I looked through their available mods that mimick Spigot plug-ins, so I'll definitely take a look through that

hearty depot
#

LuckPerms is available for NeoForge directly. FTB makes mods that do most of what EssentialsX does.

#

FTB also makes a Quests mod, not sure if it would work to replace Beton for you or not.

#

A lot of core gameplay comes from various Spigot mods, my main reasoning for continuing to use Arclignt was so I can easily transfer those files over and have them be ready to use. Just to be sure, latest snapshot versions of Arclight should work with BH panels, right?

#

I have no issue purchasing a server to test that

hearty depot
#

Again, if it works at all, then it should work.

tawny edge
#

that's all I need to hear! Nerdge my previous hosts panel would continuously try to reinstall NeoForge on startup, rather starting th Arclight .jar, so fingers crossed it works better with BH.

hearty depot
#

That's... weird.

#

The Bisect panel only tries to auto-update the Spigot family servers - not modded.

#

Or "Custom".

tawny edge
#

Their panel works with older verions of Arclicht, just not with anything after the latest official release. Not sure why.
