What are you trying to run? What modpack and what version of Minecraft is it?

it says its set to java 17 adoptium now it says its online but when i connect i get an error one sec

Java 17 Adoptium is the correct version.

Now you're likely on to an unrelated error.

Give the server a couple minutes to start. If you still cant connect, send over some logs please.

Thats showing that the Java version was set to Java 21.

Is this an existing server, or are you just switching to this modpack?

If doing a clean install of the modpack isn't an option, send support a message and they can do some digging. Because Java 17 should be the required version for 1.20.1.
