trying to add a custom modrinth modpack to a minecraft server

ive read through the guides that had shown up when i looked up my issue, most were fairly old and the guide on the site itself is confusing me and not really helping

i downloaded WinSCP and then added what i thought was needed to the modpack and i had just got completley turned around at that step

i also might have added things into the server that wasnt needed

the left is my modpack's files and the right is my server's files

same thing but scrolled down a bit

and i just get stuck with this

Quick question, is the server running the correct jar such as Fabric or Forge?

As it seems to be running the Paper jar.

You'll have to use the jar menu to swap the jar

ive been using PaperMC 1.20.1

does this mean i need to be using fabric?

i changed it
