i have logged in and out and reinstalled minecraft but i cstill cant join my friends server

normally this would fix the issue if you have tried all of the above, a bit confusing. I do not know what to recommend from this point forward. If someone else knows they will hop in, otherwise you could ask your friend to make a ticket to support but they may just suggest what you have already tried.
