So updating a modpack depends entirely on the modpack itself and what method

You can for instance take the server files, move out all your data like the world and any other thing that’s important, delete everything else and then move in all the rest from the updates files

Or you can find out exactly what changed and just replace those things

so delete mod files and config

then add the new ones from the updated serverpack?

If that’s all the modpack has sure, but there can be many more things that can be part of the pack

It entirely depends on the modpack

What you can do is download the updated version, which is most likely a zip file. Then see in the zip file what folders and files are part of the pack. Delete those from the server. Upload the zip file and upzip it

That should place everything in the correct place right away, barring any issues with how it’s zipped

what is the process to downgrade a modpack from FTB? They have there modpack installer which is making things kind of complicated
