Has to be asked, but is this a plugin that you paid for yourself?
Yes
Like the overall plugin itself is paid
From Phoenix Duels
Why does this message occur?
Like they are big files?
Right, and you bought it? Didn't download a free leak from somewhere?
I'm not familiar with them. I've only paid for plugins through Spigot.
They could just be selling their plugins from their own site. I would reach out to them, they'd be the best place to answer why it isn't working.
They may have some kind of system to track how many servers the plugin is running on. Usually when you pay for a plugin, you only have the right to run it on your own server.
These systems help prevent people from uploading it to a leaks website to allow anyone to take it.
Ok
but it works on apex, alien host, but not bisect>
its like really confusing cause like in all
i have like 20 plugins
Are any of those servers still running?
So the Alien server and Bisect server are running at the same time?
Then I would contact the plugin devs through their Discord. They can see why their licensing system thinks you have too many servers running at once.
Like there connected
There using different ips right
so how can they track?
Cause i only have 1 instance
Same way as Netflix - you put your key code in the plugin and it phones home. The server says "wait, I've seen this on too many IPs within the last 24 hours" and blocks it.
oh ok
But only the dev will know for sure how their licensing works.
i mean ive used it in servers before
this is for a client
they specifically wanted it in bisect
Correct, but if you've moved it too many times too fast it may look like you're trying to bootleg it.
So contact them.
No, I am telling you to contact the plugin's support.
cause the data stores right?
No.
oh ok
Plugin support alr
mb
They're the ones who can see why it's showing as being used more than the license allows.
Correct.
they can control it right
And you've used that same license on multiple servers - whether you're moving it between hosts or not - within a certain period of time.
yeah
So it is reasonable to think that their system smelled something fishy and you need to ask them to clear it.
ASK THEM
Nobody here can say.
