I have my email and password for my account and it seems to be setup on a two factor authentication for some reason which I don't know how to access so I always just copy and paste a backup code. For some reason my most recent backup code isn't letting me log into my account. I would like to know how or where to access my regular two factor authentication or anything to get back in to my account. (I always click remember me but it always makes me re-login)

It will be in an app on your mobile device. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy... Any of these can manage the 2-factor secret.

It looks like I have previously had microsoft authentication im going to try and see if that works but if not i might just have to reset it

If you uninstalled the app, it should have deleted any secrets it had. So re-installing is unlikely to give access.

yeah it just made me re sign in on it, my phone always uninstalls apps if i dont use them after a certain period of time

Yeah, I have a couple that are there just to hold 2-factor for apps I rarely use but have their own 2FA and you can't use one of the standard ones.
I would be looking for the setting to disable that.

I know my kiddo's will "archive" apps, but it keeps all the data and the icon, and just re-downloads the app itself next time you need it.
