hello! We figured out some people's computer's coulsn't run neoforge. We've already had people, like myself, build on the server. Is there a way we can save the world file from neoforge; then after we set up into fabric, import the world into fabric?

#

We have the assumption that we won't be able to because Neo forge has the frammed mod, and we used that mod to create majority of the builds

#

OR

#

The blocks from frammed will be lost

you can't swtich mod loaders willy nilly and expect your world to not be damaged. also why do you think some people can't run neoforge?

#

share the errors those people are getting, grab their latest logs and we can help you figure out what's going on.

#

have the right click the pack, choose open folder, find the logs folder, enter it. scroll to the bottom the file is literally called "latest" on windows and "latest.log" on other operating systems like Linux and Mac. have them give that to you and you put it here.

#

alternatively you can reach out to the neoforge discord which are super helpful.

this isn't a 'me' issue either. It works for me, but other's i have no clue as to why.

#

@flint wren is the one who has this issue. He's the Bisect server host, and I'm a modderator who has opperator privilages

we can't help you if you can't provide those players latest.logs, and also telling me the server is not loading, means we need that servers latest.log.

#

also how are you telling your players what to load? if you're not sharing a curseforge shared profile code or an exported zip, or a mrpack from modrinth app, you are leaving alot of variables out in the open.

The server runs. My friends can not load the modpack even with 16 gigs of ram

snow pier
#

ok so the server does load.

#

we need the latest.logs from the ailing players to progress

#

not the server

#

how are you sending the mod pack to your friends?

#

are they importing a zip you exported?

old arch
#

they've done the exact same things as i've done and for some reason theirs won't load.

#

we have one player who can run it on modrenth. I've walked @flint wren though this on Modrenth and it just wont load

#

There are no crash reports either.

most mods are on modrinth believe it or not. try to build the pack 100% there and don't do the separate jar file methods. you can also make a full export from your app launcher and send the zip file to them. and let them import it.

#

that wont' care where you got the mods from then

#

not asking for a crash report, i was asking for a latest.log

#

latest.log contain everything that appears in the client's console.

#

including "so called" benign messages that are not indicative of a stack trace as you find in a crash report.

#

i've got 79+ mod packs under my belt, about 100 builds average per, been doing this for 10 years now. if you get me what I need I can get you closer to where you want to be if not all the way there.
