How do i specifically only reset the overworld
If im not mistaken, stop server, go to files, open the "world" folder, and delete INSIDE the world folder everything not playerdata related
The overworld folder containts all players data, so removing it entirely will also remove progress, so, keep the playerdata file
Also, make a server backup before for safety

You would also need to leave the DIM1 and DIM-1 folders for the End and Nether.

if you just want to delete the overworld, delete purely the DIM0 folder

those have been there for as long as I can remember
that's nothing new
the big difference is if you play spigot/paper it changes that system to have the nether and end in their own folders instead
