Yes - you can upload the server and set the server's jar name in the startup tab.
So, I need to buy the server and then put the magma 1.16.5 and then is executed or I need to do more things. I'm preparing all the configs on a localhost and I had to made a start.bat to start the server.
Magma is available in the Minecraft Jar menu in the control panel, or when you purchase.
Then you would apply the modpack on top of that.
So when BisectHosting tells me to choose a preinstaled I must click on I don't want to preinstall nothing on my server. And then, when I have purchase the server I can install my magma 1.16.5?
Sorry for all the questions but I don't want to screw it up.
Actually, it looks like Magma doesn't exist for 1.16.5.
You'd have to use Arclight or Mohist.
It exists because I have the magma server for 1.16.5. But I put above that in Bisect Hosting don't appears.
So is impossible to set up, no?
I mean, it looks like Magma Foundation as a whole evaporated.
Their website doesn't load, they have no downloads on their GitHub...
It could be that Bisect just doesn't have a copy of Magma 1.16.5 from a trusted source.
So, its impossible to make a magma 1.16.5 server in BisectHosting.
Or I can talk with someone or do something?
If you have the server jar yourself you can upload it.
But they do not have it all installed and tested.
I would try Arclight first? They're still active and Bisect can have that ready-to-go.
If that doesn't work, upload your copy Magma.
With ArcLight I have a lot of errors with plugins, is for this I changed to magma. But if you say that I can upload my magma1.16.5.jar on the panel without any erros I will do it
And there is a tutorial on YT or a guide to do it or it's so simple as upload the file and put the start.bat like I'm on local
You just put the server jar's name in the Startup tab and pick the right version of Java on the Home tab.
But this is after purchasing the server, right?
Ok, I was confused with the preinstall option
So, on this option I would put I will upload my own files.
You could've selected any random thing and been hours past this by now, though.
What? I don't understand you.
Likewise, I will buy the server in a few months. Now I am configuring the mods and plugins locally
Whatever you choose at checkout, if it's the wrong thing you can just change it later.
