77 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
ok so i downloaded a cursefore serverpack
i followed an old youtube video from 2 years ago
didnt work
i will be honest i am slow and imma need direct pointers
!custommodpack ⬇️ Any video for Minecraft on Bisect over about a year old isn't going to help.
ok so i did mess stuff up and this is how the thing looks like
do i just
slam the modpack zip folder in
This looks like the prerequisite was skipped.
oh wait
so do i put forge
cause i
ohh waity one second i think ik which one
ok im dumb which forge do i get
Whichever one the modpack uses.
oh so 1.12.2?
CurseForge says it somewhere when you have your copy installed.
1.12.2 is the Minecraft version.
Forge has its own version number.
There's nothing there you want to keep, right?
nah
delete and replace files?
ok i got everything
but now adding the modpack part
the screenshot shown on the website is a bit differ
do i drag and drop the folders only?
May want server.properties, depending on if anything in the modpack requires a settings change.
okok imma transfer folders first then server props
is this normal?
legit said 6 days for a secon
That looks like you're not following the how-to. 🤷♀️
uh oh
wait what did i do wrong then
i dragged all the folders in the server pack
the mods folder is 600MB
The how-to says to zip them.
Wait.
They removed the zip step? O.o
SFTP is better with large files than it is with a large number of small files.
okok
One horse sized duck is better than a thousand duck sized horses.
so should i reinstall forge
No.
Just either wait for it to handle all the duck sized horses or cancel the transfer, zip, handle the horse sized duck, then unzip.
😊
I AINT WAITING 6 DAYS
imma do the zipping stuff
ITS SO QUICK
where do i unzip it?
In place - so it's just like you uploaded the other way.
can i check the log?
