i got a big modpack..... 150+ mods............. What's a recommended RAM size for my server? It's pretty beefy, but nothing too big, biggest mods include Betternether/end, biomes o plenty/weve gone, deeper darker.

For a custom pack its really up to you to figure out. Sadly the amount of mods doesn't help determine what it needs.
Load up the pack in singleplayer and see how much it uses there. Most bigger modpacks on modern MC version will need around 8GB (and then more depending on players etc). But whatever it uses in singleplayer + 1GB for every 2 players might give a good indication or at least starting point.
