You're using Java 17 to start a 1.16.5 server... why?

There are breaking differences between Java 8 (what 1.16.5 was designed for) and Java 17.

i had it on java it switched it up tho after a couple of restarts

That's a weird error message. Something in the modloader is trying to run jar verification and exploding.

i went thru all the java versions and it FINALLY worked on java 9 😭
