How hard is it to add a modpack w/o the premiums automatic modpack install? First time being the one to set up a server and wanna know how much time/struggle it saves to use that instead of manually doing it

That is going to depend on how comfortable you are uploading files, configuring stuff, and general server management.

Most modpacks its just a upload the server pack files and select the correct modloader.
