@meager hull If I had to guess, you probably have the wrong version of the mod itself. The mod was made for 1.20.1 Minecraft, but there might be different versions of the mod made for that version of Minecraft (if that makes sense).

When you look at the files for that mod, make sure you got the latest version for the correct MC version you want.

The version I highlighted in yellow is likely the correct version you need. The one in orange is the version I suspect you have installed.

Easier guess is that the server and your client are on different versions of the modpack.

Go into the Minecraft Tools -> Minecraft Jar section of the control panel, hit the Show More in the top right corner of the Currently Installed box, and it will give the Modpack Version.

Go into your launcher and make sure your copy of the modpack is on the same version.
