I've written a Discord Bot in JavaScript, where I've used a LavaLink server for the music. What are the possibilities for hosting this on BisectHosting? Can I use the discord hosting plan or do I need something else?

The Discord hosting plan supports Node.js.

Yes, I know that. My question is if it's possible to run the LavaLink server alongside it which is written in Java

You wouldn't be able to run the bot and the LavaLink server both on it, though.

Ah okay

The special-purpose servers like game servers, Discord bot, etc. are single-process plans.

You'd need a VPS to run LavaLink. (And then could just also run the bot on that, too.)

Great. Thank you!

also keep in mind that music bots by default violate copyright. If bisect gets a complaint from any license holder for a song you are allowing to be streamed they will terminate your service
