Been looking everywhere but no luck, got a custom Neoforge 1.20.1 modded server running on clients but on the server its giving me a crash I've never seen:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.commons.codec.binary.Base64
attached will be the full log, like I said it runs fine for clients and I've seen SOME evidence that its the java version thats the culprit but for some reason Java 20 (the version I used to test this pack) isn't available as an option in bisect.

Java 20 is for 1.20.6+

hm alright, well then I'm wrong in that assumption my bad lol but this still happens with java 17

This looks like an incomplete Libraries folder
Definitely has nothing to do with the Java version and everything to do with a library Minecraft itself uses is missing. One of the Apache Commons libraries.

okay, I use prism launcher and found a libraries folder in there I can try finding what it needs maybe?
or just. copy the whole thing

yeah idk I ran it with neoforge blank and it was fine, added the mods and this happened
does look like I have some libraries the server doesnt, trying now
copied the whole libraries folder and its still happening

nope. gonna try removing some client side mods I may have accidentally left in
but ik removing Embeddium and Modernfix didnt help before

I know embeddium and valkyrienskies can cause issues together sometimes, but if removing that didnt work im not sure
