My server that is hosting the MC mod ciscos medival rpg ultimate was originally at 4 GB and i upgraded it to 7 gb because of lag and the server having the same issue saying it could not keep up and the same thing is happening even tho i upgraded it by a lot.

!spark will help figure out where the lag comes from, run it while the server is lagging and post the resulted link here! (it might get caught by the bot but a mod can grab it from the deleted messages)

Spark
How to provide a Spark sampler.

  1. Stop your server.
  2. Download Spark: https://spark.lucko.me/download
  3. Upload the mod to your server:
Filemanager > mods (for modded servers)
or Filemanager > plugins (for plugin based servers)
(Just drag & drop the file)
  4. Start the server.
  5. Use the command /spark sampler
  6. Wait 10-15 minutes.
  7. Use the command /spark sampler --stop

Please send some logs over so we can help resolve your issue. To access logs on your Minecraft server, please navigate to your server panel's File Manager and take the following path:

1. Open the Server's File Manager
2. Navigate inside the 'logs' folder
3. Click on "latest.log" to download it and send the file over Discord to this channel.

wait do i have to put the mod into the sewrveres files aswell

#

i only put it in mine

If you want to detect lag on the server, it only has to go on the server

#

(Which is why the instructions say to upload it to your server) :)

limpid axle
#

sorry im not that bright lol

#

ok it started will it give me a notification when it finishes

hexed kernel
#

No, you stop it yourself, give it about 15 minutes and make sure the server is actually lagging while youre running the profiler, it cannot detect lag that isnt happening!

Thats a pretty much perfect spark report

limpid axle
#

then why is the server still overloaded

#

it does say minimum 8 gb but its 7 gb server and not even using all of it

hexed kernel
#

Yeah the server will only use what it needs , not the full amount.
The server overloaded message can be ignored if you're not having lag, which you say you are but the spark doesn't show it. Did the server lag while you were on just now? (Not as in the overloaded message, actual lag in game)

limpid axle
#

mainly the lag is when i eat and the chunks not loading

#

the chunks not loading is the main one

hexed kernel
#

And that was happening while you made this spark profile?

limpid axle
#

the chunks yes

#

they load very slowly

#

also just now i did a command and it lagged like crazy

#

so far rn it is alright

Your server is running optimally in that spark report. The bulk of the wait time for the cpu is waiting for something to do.

#

Could it be a client issue that yuou're having while rendering chunks and lighting by an overzealous shader or texture pack?

ok thx

#

btw how do i reset a world like reset the world itself
