the server for American Truck only for 8 players?

I don't believe so - since the american truck simulator server selector asks how many players you think will be on and the slider goes up way past 8

Yes, but in the server parameter configuration, I put any number greater than 8, but when I turn on the server it says maximum number of players 8

Hmm i cant find anything about it in the guides, i'd make a ticket and ask support! They typically reply in like 15 minutes, they will know for sure! Not too many american truck simulator admins in here as far as i know :(

Currently ATS servers can only support 8 as far as I can see; hence the limit put there yesyes
