You get it from eating salty or pickled foods from vintage delight

#

I think the easiest way would be to just disable the effect entirely and use a datapack to add the thirst effect to anything salty or pickled

either that or a script that checks for the effect and removes it, giving the other one in exchange

The reason i dont think that will work is because it wont say thirst effect on consumables

Itll be confusing to say 'this gives dehydration' but it actually gives you thirst
