i'm playing on a server with create and i'm running into the classic issue that portals are linking up in ways they shouldn't. is it possible to manually change which portal connects to which?

It might be possible to check which portal an entity enter and teleport it to the "right" portal in the other side

nether portal blocks aren't block entities so i don't know how else they would know where to send the player
