First timer here: Can anyone give an idea of how much $$ my partner and I should budget for the additional excursions/activities that have yet to be released? We are joining for all five days.

Last year a gjipe ticket was 35gbp per person per day and a pool side session ticket was 21gbp per person per day

I’m not sure if there was a cost for wellness activities and @errant fern can probably give an idea of how much the dinner experience was

For gjipe and pool it depends on how much of those you want to do. I definitely don’t recommend doing Gjipe every day since it absolutely destroys you. Starts relatively early, extremely hot and with the night program straight after you basically dance for like 75% of the day 😅

Yup, unless you're Ultra fit, then you may get 4-5 sleep a day, starts early each day like 10am for wellness and events, Gjipe boats leave around 12, pool parties in the afternoon and the day closes at around 6-7 am. It's a marathon not a sprint!

Also 1000% to pace yourself! You don’t need to do everything

Yeah you'll be temped to book loads of cool sounding things but be too tired to go to any of them!

You should make sure to do at least one Gjipe and at least one pool party though - they are a completely different vibe to the normal festival

I remember saying this the first time too, y'know the older theoretically wiser guy, but my day started on time at 7am UK time, and I found my train had been cancelled, rushed to grab an earlier train, and found the car park was closed, mad drive around found a space and made the train by 4 minutes. Then got text, the flight was delayed by 8 hours, finally left London at 11pm that night, arrived at 4:30am, chatted had a shower decided by 6am decided it was breakfast time, Managed to do this and went to get the early shuttle at 12, in Dhermi around 5 I think, checked into hotel, met people, eat, and then went on to 3 am that night - then we crashed! 😂 Don't do it!!!!

The dinner experience was a full proper meal with multiple courses (entrees, starters, mains, deserts) and other random "finger food" type things in between

Last year I missed my flight by literally 5 mins, had to rebook in the airport for the next one out, obviously missed my ferry transfer and etc, was scheduled to get to Dhermi for 3PM or something and ended up getting there at 8PM and by that point I'd been up for near enough 24 hours, I crashed at the hotel for an hour and then went out to catch some opening sets

You could grab a taxi and travel to the start of the walk up to the waterfall, although I am unsure on how much water would be present in June. The walk back is pretty much downhill, but still a little hike. Anyone that did the walk as a wellness event may know better.

But when we hiked through Gjipe we went basically as far as the canyon goes before it gets difficult to climb up the rocks/etc. There's a few places that have ropes that you can use to get up the rocks

I think we got to the point of where the waterfall starts but there was no water

There was a digital guide released, so if that for this year will appear, keep it with you as it's quite useful!

At the venue's area, just take your time to explore around and see what's what and where's where.

If possible, keep cash with you, though there are some, not many cash machines around.
(In case you want to eat outside the area.)

I kind of ended up in a good daily habit:
Wake up at 12 ish, go to the cove for a "morning" bath and some tunes. On the way there pick up some breakfast, often pancake
Then at like 16 go back home and eat dinner. Then take a nap and wake up at like 21-22 and then head into the night

It’s a pretty remote beach in between two hills, they have a small intimate stage further back (not on the beach directly), usually there’s 2 sets per day

Honestly gjipe was a bit of a letdown for me. It was all nice and so, but when put in relation to the whole exploration experience it felt a bit meh. So much fun stuff going on anyway, why take a boat to "escape" it?

I did a hearing test too when picking them up and have no hearing loss at all, so I'm doing it alright enough 🙂

I always find Empire notorious for having too much bass, especially later in the night. I've always preferred Splendor because I find it's more balanced there.

Same, splendor feels more consistent throughout the stage. Empire sounded a lot better this past year but felt it was lacking in 23 (lot of dead zones). When in doubt, stand next to the stack 🙂

You can take a boat out between certain hours (like 12-3), and a boat back between certain hours too (4-end). Not that sure why you would want do a double trip or they would let you do that.

You will love it, but two things to take into account, it starts early in the day, so you wont get much sleep if you do the sunrise that day! or conversely the sunrise the next day, you will feel it so don't push it too hard or you risk missing out because you need some rest.

Sunrise, you might see bed by 6:30 to 7am, and you should be down at the Yacht Club before midday when the boats start to go over. Gjipe starts midday'ish. So maybe 4 hours sleep. Then when you get back about 18:30 ish, time for a shower, get changed and eat. then start over till sunrise again.

there are a few extra add-ons, not all of them released yet, but you are perfectly fine with just your "base" ticket and accomodation

you will have an amazing time

gjipe is a day-time event with a separate stage/lineup at a nearby beach and canyon, your ticket includes a boat ride over there.
those are the tickets that went on sale today, and they are still available.

some other addons not released yet are the:
welness events
pool parties (similar to gjipe, has it's own stage/lineup, but on the festival ground)
long-table dinner - dinner and wine with a DJ and other festival go-ers

I assume all of them are still happening this year but I don't know if there's been official guidance or not

regardless there is music and something going on from noon - 5 am every day with just your regular ticket/accomodation, no addons required

As has been said already, don't buy extras like Gjipe or pool parties out of FOMO, there's plenty to do outside of them. Others have said previously that it's a marathon and not a race, you can't be everywhere at once so pace yourself and you'll have a great time!

If you can experience Gjipe then it's totally worth it, you can get a taxi to somewhere nearby and hike down to the beach or through the canyon, I think I got Gjipe on a whim when I went in 2022 for the first time and I thoroughly enjoyed it

Hi @tawdry wolf - it's hard to tell how much demand there will be, but we have a solid amount of packages available in this sale. I would reckon at most you'd be in the queue for an hour if you join right at 12pm, but we do have it set up where you can input your email and it will email you when you're able to enter the queue. You'll have 30 minutes to do so, but that's easier than staying on the page. I imagine there will be some level of inventory available if you sign on later, but there would be less hotel options. That said, if you're down to come and stay wherever, I don't think you'll have an issue.

There's no sunset sets. The sunrise sets start at 3am I think

Hotel check in should be reasonably quick. The main time will be getting from hotel to the wristband collection, depending on how far that is. Wristband collection takes 10 minutes or so

If you're arriving on Friday all of that stuff will be quick, as 90% of people will be arriving on Thursday

There’s places to sit to the side where I just dropped my bag and phone and tried to keep an eye on it

I don’t recall if they had lockers though, I just trusted the anjunafam to not steal my stuff 😂

You can always leave expensive stuff in your room if you go to the pool party/gjipe (gjipe definitely doesn’t have anything to store your belongings in)

I don't think they had lockers, but everyone is so friendly that you could just leave a bag with a random person and they would keep an eye on it for you

the best thing about staying at Beyond this year is that I can just trot down to empire in my swimming trunks 🙂
