15h playtime, no mods, no debug entries.
I was able to destroy their weapons in first seconds (confirmed by sensors panel, where the weapons list have disappeared), but until I docked they were able to beat the crap out of the ship of mine, without weapons.

It's the arena (fight button from the ship editor) so no save available. The first screenshot was from the actual game, but I had deleted autosaves from this playthrough already. Everything is reproducible though.
