Everything has been fine up until a random moment where my dude absolutely refuses to do anything unless I baby them into doing it, such as telling them to install something and they wont do it until I make them manually pick up said item, drag it to the installation point and then press resume task, my roster hours are all set to work, autotask does nothing, my game runs like shit despite trying all the help options and I am going insane, what do

I think I know what you were suggesting and it was right, I had a fuck ton of build orders for floors and walls first, even though it was impossible to complete the order due to the lack of any loose floors and walls around the level it was still prioritized over everything else

Great! Glad you were able to fix it. This is also the sudden lag spike due to them going over the list/task over and over.

Try saving and exiting the game and load the save.

I've tried that and all of the above, i'm thinking it's a ram issue cause I only have 16gb and it's hitting 12, despite not maxing out could still be the problem

Try this method I've been doing lately. Find an old saved before the lag spikes then once that load. Load the current saved. See the difference

also now inexplicably my eva suit as just dissapeared and I am surviving in space, I am hovering over where it should be and it's not invisible or anything ,just gone

fuck me and now that I ran out of floors to complete the task at the bottom, I queued up more tasks to uninstall the floors at the above location but since the construction was queued before the uninstallation my dude refuses to uninstall with autotask RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
She would rather just sit there with auto task on and do absolutely do nothing than uninstall since it was queued after

save reload usually helps with that. Also don't ever do too many tasks - it breaks ai a lot

If you queued too many tasks, you can cancel them, or some, with the Order function. Select the type of item, floor, conduits, installed items or whatever, then Cancel and paint a large square above the zone
