I'm expanding my ship and ran out of walls, so I had to make a temporary seal with a door. As a consequence, when I'm docked at OKLG, the dock workers get stuck on a walking loop trying to enter my airlock. If I open the door, they will pass through my ship to access space to go repair a broken conduit that's inaccessible from inside. Sometimes they get stuck on my exercise equipment/my water source/my fridge, and I have to order them out.

ive never seen them use the door codes, i just unlock all doors with hacking.

The worst is when they stop in to eat your food, drink your water, and use your exercise and entertainment equipment while you are in the middle of some long autotask sequence and forgot to lock the front door to keep them out. I had one situation where the NPC never went outside, but just treated my ship like part of KLEG.
Ideally they would just say no to pathing through the player's ship while docked at a station unless the NPC was active law enforcement and had an active warrant.

Agreed, initially I didn't care if they were just pathing through, it's not ideal but I get it. When they started raiding my food & water is when it really became an issue.
