I decided to return to the game to remake my interdiction ships using the modular reactor.

Unfortunately, the new reactors were too large to fit, so I ended up creating a new, pointy ship using the aerodynamic pieces. Wish there were options larger than 1x3, but I think this is pretty enough.

So I present the Stiletto. It's more of a Cinquedea with how fat it turned out, but oh well. I imagine this to be a decommissioned military ship with its cargo hold converted from a torpedo rack.

Also, I have a few questions;

  1. Are aerodynamic walls supposed to be see-through?
  2. i didn't bother with a whipple shield because when i previously played, micrometeorites would poke holes at random, but now im reading that they now come from the side and will impact the first thing they come in contact with. is that true?
  3. I can't seem to find the edit panel button, so I can't link vents to alarms in the editor. Is it still an option? If so, how do I access it?

Woah, building that is gonna be EXPENSIVE. Not easy to find those aero walls.

It will be hell to replace them when micrometeorites come. And yes, micrometeorites come from the borders of the map and damage or destroy the first thing they find in their path. The room with the beds will be pretty hard to hit.

Smart vents have their own internal sensor, and they suck, because they are too sensitive. They will close just for opening a door or breathing a bit.
