So you're facing a hold full of SPOILER and would like to burninate it. You pull out your trusty Weber "Lance" Laser Torch, and you start to torch that SPOILER...by walking up to it, and heaving the most fragile part of it to smash into your target and only then triggering the laser!
Wut.
Call me silly, but I expected a laser to work at range rather than being required to melee. So. This mod does that. The laser presumably isn't fitted with a weapon grip, so it's short ranged compared to a pistol, and the damage numbers aren't changed, so it's fairly weak compared to a pistol. But. It's now got the ability to lazor things from a distance instead of, you know, melee laser.
