tbf its not like the inequal team size really affected anything. nonspriters got pinged for the event so they signed up without checking it out, i feel like the amount of active spriters was relatively equal for every team but i dont actually have stats for that of course

i mean ruby kept up pretty well despite being the smallest and the loss between us and emerald were very close. i forget sapphire had some fuckery going on with points re the winner

Ah it was hard for at least my team to know the numbers of active spriters of the other teams since all we had to go off of was the numbers in the team react post, so maybe it was fairly equal

And since most other events were always built around the contest winners, this was an attempt at giving different efforts a go at a reward

Yes! Its designed in a way where you only have to interact with it every two weeks if you want/need to.

Not having anything to contribute to that isn't a contest would be a little disheartening unless putting in an entry gave some points like some contests did, because contests are kind of brutal and not everyone wants to try to deal with that and then have their entry mean nothing because a bunch of people simply have more skill than them
