I used the same Scolipede/Gardevoir fusion through most of my run, but I realized that they cancelled out on each other since Scolipede is a Physical attacker, but with the Hidden ability Speed Boost it's a monster anyway (I then unfused it to make the Flygon/Scolipede one we can see on the Hall of Fame I posted earlier, that works really really well

Honestly, I would probably still have keeped them if they're type didn't overlap with other Mon's (the Whimsicot/Misdreavous being Ghost Fairy, and the Espeon/Milotic being Water Psychic) but Dragon Dance with the Scolipede/Flygon is also really freaking good, he was my fastest Mon in the end even without them

HOF 10 THE PLAYTEST: I played through the new Modern Mode from Pallet Town all the way to the Elite 4. No battle items, hard level caps, doing me best to make use of newer Pokemon. The playtest is much more difficult than the base game and the Elite 4 took a few tries. I chose a Abra/Aerodactyl as my starter cause I fell in love with @high kiln's sprite line, the first gyms were Steel and Ice which didn't make my life any easier lol.

A compilation of all 10 of my hall of fames. Each one was a brand new run with a variety of rulesets, and I had a whole lot of fun doing each and every one of them. I estimate all of these together took me about 300 hours. Made a lot of new friends and the game has changed a lot since I started. @raw meteor

It's because you already evolved it. As togepi it can learn it, because it's literally a broken shell so of course it could learn shell smash. But you can't retroactively teach it to togekiss, you get it as togepi and then evolve it twice.

Goodra/Arcanine, Gliscor/Doublade, and regenerator Slowking/Forretress were all great 'cause one of them could always bait a move that another either resisted or was immune to and I could just keep swapping and healing and intimidating and get the opponents to waste PP and give my other guys opportunities to set up

It isn't really about having "broken" pokemon as much it is just knowing how to exploit the AI

The poison ice typing isn't that great, but access to poison moves lets me melt some annoying stallers. Made her Timid Nature, Snow Cloak ability, with Powdered snow item and taught her Hail and Toxic Spikes through the KIF mod and she became an amazing initiator for me

Initiating with Hail and Toxic Spikes made the elite four and champ doable for me even with the lvl 60 level cap

I forgot which one I used but if you just try some older version you'll eventually find one that works, the whole screen pausing thing is a glich within the newer versions themselves not anything to do with Infinite Fusion.

That’s impressive! Was it difficult? What was your overall strategy besides status moves?

It definitely started off more diffucult, grass types were a menace because my main sources of damage were poison powder and leech seed. The strat that beat almost anything was setting hazards with Forretress/Ferrothorn, then bringing in Lucario/Whimsicott to use roar and then spam copycat with prankster to freeze the enemy out. Clefable/Mawile had unaware + swagger which was hilarious, and could also set up stockpiles and wish before baton passing. Dusclops/Shuckle with eviolite was an unkillable monstrosity despite spamming curse as its main offense, and Blissey/Mismagius served a similar role. Pyukumuku/Weezing was my hard counter to poison types, nothing funnier than watching Agatha’s Muk/Ho-oh die to toxic and its own black sludge 😂

For funsies, my top 10 mons from these screenshots are:

2. Electivire/Infernape - Iron Fist Plasma Fists is funny (altho u can't get Plasma Fists on it pre-E4)
3. Snorlax/Arcanine - STAB E-Speed and Belly Drum, and Heat Crash from move expert, _and_ Intimidate, just a very nice mon
4. Tyrantrum/Sharpedo - Only fusion with Strong Jaw Psychic Fangs until Bruxish is added, p strong altho probs needs Rock Polish
5. Mismagius/Typhlosion - Scarf Typhlosion is a lot better with a second STAB (Moongeist Beam) and Levitate
6. Ampharos/Sceptile - Tail Glow is good and I saw a guy on ladder recently using Unburden on it which is smth cool I missed when I ran it
7. Yanmega/Kabutops - Tinted Lens First Impression is kinda funny but not that effective vs E4 because a lot of mons quad-resist Bug. Same issue for Yanmega/Flygon
8. Drifblim/Gardevoir - Flare Boost is a cool ability and Ghost/Fairy is a strong offensive typing. A little slow, but bulky enough to make a Calm Mind set work, especially with Strength Sap via move expert
9. Cloyster/Marowak - Made it this way before realising Head Marowak fusions can use Thick Club, so I missed out on STAB Skill Link Icicle Spear, but gained STAB Skill Link Water Shuriken which was equally funny even with bad SpAtk
10. Baile/Gardevoir - This was a Doubles run and using fast pivots to put it side-by-side with a Volcarona fusion to abuse Dancer was so fun```

my top 5 from my runs are probably

1. Cacturne/Shuckle - shuckle should not have access to leech seed, spiky shield, or an actually usable special attack stat. Having all 3 in the same package was as hysterically broken as you'd expect even in a doubles-only run.
2. Cradily/Dusclops - Mid type aside, the eviolite tank of tanks, even was able to stall out the legendary birds after articuno got taken out while the rest of my team was dying left and right.
3. Cofagrigus/Noctowl - I nuz so I like tanks and having a HARD answer to every fighting type in the region between WoW and mummy to negate possible guts users is always great.
4. Jolteon/Parasect and Klinklang/Parasect - Both of these are here for the same reason: spore + speed. In the latter's case, combining it with shift gear as well.
5. Ariados/Bibarel - the only one of these that didn't make it (rival's tauros sniped her) to the HoF, but fell stinger + simple was hysterical for the +6 attack when it went off, combined with aqua jet to negate the low speed stat.

It was definitely the MVP of the team. I had a lot of trouble with the ice gym leader though because he has tons of ice/waters and it gets destroyed by those. I always had a Water/Ice for the 4x Ice resist(Since Kingler doesn't learn waterfall and Liquidation is move tutor only) but while it could switch in on ice hits, it couldn't do anything in return. So I replaced the Sheer Force Feraligatr/Weavile with the Cloyster/Kingler because it gets skill link rock blast+shell smash. They had a ridiculous amount of synergy since I could abuse the switch ins Electric->Ice->Electric->etc dropping their attack every time. And cloyler also resists water. Then Poryeon destroys waters. But the whole team was built around Maromence
