If I am playing with another player and I say I have a magikarp left in my party and there is a hitmonlee on the left and a yamper on the right which way do I go. I haven't seen a Shiny yet, but that's because I've been avoiding encounters for the main story except for the early-game and for completing my team members.
Which I did ultimately fulfill, I ended the game with Starburst the Inteleon (F), Twizzler the Boltund (F), Gumdrop the Corviknight (F), Snickers the Obstagoon (F), Konpeito the Frosmoth (F), and Trolli the Grimmsnarl (M). Using my unnamed Zacian to catch and train Pokemon to fill out my Dex. I went for a candy theme for naming my team this playthrough.

I'm fighting a 3-star G-max Centiskorch and a regular NPC dealt like 1/3 dmg and my level 100 dynamaxxed Barbaricle only dealt 1/6 damage with a suppereffective move, then the shield triggered
the Centiskorch is level 40, so...
also casual level 100 when I'm supposed to be level 40-45
can't wait to start my 2nd playthrough and casually enter the 1st gym with a fully evolved starter
