basically each shiny gives you more luck for that specific pokemon. regular (yellow) are worth one point, cyan (what's up there) is worth two, and red is worth 3. Luck mostly affects rare encounters showing up more often and items "leveling up" into higher tiers more often. the cap is 14 luck i believe?

though it is nice to note that luck is for that species so if you don't like how a shiny looks you can downgrade (or go shinyless) and still keep the luck boost if you have it unlocked

the only other thing to note is that if you fuse a shiny then it's luck is not just retained but combined, so fusing two shinies gives you +2 luck, and fusing a red shiny with a regular one would give you +4 luck

I can somewhat defend myself vs Rock and Ice since I have Focus Blast

I think the best mon for this that I could afford is Garchomp, who covers Fire and Electric and can still deal with Flying with neutral STAB Dragon

This does leave me with 2 leftover points that I do not need

I'll swap Fini out for Lugia, whose Delta Stream can also assist in covering Electric, Rock and Ice, and is as efficient as Tapu Fini in carrying in general, if not more so
