you know i just came up with this cool casual challenge that stops after gen 7 but can go up to gen 9 if you have access. and how it works is where you do a casual playthrough of each gen but after you beat the champ you bring 1 pokemon from that champ team as your transfer baby from that gen that will get brought up to each subsequent gen only rules are you cant use a repeat pokemon as your transfer baby and you are not allowed to use legends or mythics

Having played through both original and remake, Gen 3 was never considered the best (though it was my gateway games) It's charming for what it is, though changes like altering Mauville into a single apartment complex than an expansive town and the removal of both the Game Corner and Battle Frontier kinda soured then in true fans' eyes. (though given reactions to their attempts at a more 1:1 remake with BDSP shows pokefans are just whiny for the sake of it)
