Does this count as art that I could post here? I just edited Forretress's official Home render to match its original pre-Gen VI game coloring. I recently learned that not only is Forretress still listed as purple in the Pokedex, it used to actually BE purple in the sprites.

"half pixels" is a phenomenen wherein some pixels are not the same size as others

generally, proper spritework is done such that every pixel is of uniform size, while Jotaro's hat has some pixels that are half the size of the other pixels in the image

If you're just making this for yourself and you're happy with how it looks, then don't worry about it.

If you want to upload it to the sprite gallery when you're done, you might consider cleaning it up for consistent pixel size, so it doesn't look out of place next to all the other pixelwork in the game.

It's a combination of various tiles as well as some custom edited tiles.

I mostly use free-use tiles but occasionally edit them to look more original or like for this example where I edited tiles to make them snowy within a snowy map.

I love making snowy building tiles; so much fun. 🙂

The concept for it is that it's a "fire starter" like flint and steel. It's hooves create sparks easily and it's fur act as a fire resistant blanket. :/
