Was drawing UltraNecrozma/Oricorio for the rainbow challenge thing. But, in the second drawing I added more necrozma traits and did necrozma posing for it but now its looking like Oricorio/UltraNecrozma. Wasn’t my intentions and posting here to gain an extra opinion on this

well, as far as the colors are UNecrozma's, it should be clear

but don't use too many traits or oricorio would be kinda lost

Also, i'm guessing you want to sprite it or for someone else to sprite it? If so, keep in mind that the smaller details would be harder to sprite

(I'd personally keep the idea in the left, and maybe add one or two smaller flying wings, and details like that, nothing big)

AI has a hard time to get hard outlines (they often blend a lot with the coulours around them) since it places singular pixels and not uses brushes so outlineless styles are preferred for it (￣^￣)

I'm not one to accuse people, but I would agree on you that the artworks are a little inconsistent, even if it's from periods of them not putting 100% into actually making it. Though, I'm not sure what you particularly mean on the AI art angle of things.

Generally speaking, pixelated AI art (from at least what I can recently remember) is still pretty easy to spot, given weird certain lines or half-pixels sprinkles around the image.

i'm a pixelartist first and foremost, so digital art techniques might not be what i'm best at
anyway, i suggest workin on a higher res and changing ur brush size. ur lineart brush is kinda too harsh in comparison to sugimori's work
ur colors seem to be accurate so good job, i'd also suggest changing ur brush for the shading for similar reasons
... unfortunataly i can't really help you with what brushes to use due to what i wrote down on my first sentence

I agree, and understand that they put good effort into it. It can contribute to their decision to keep it saturated

Lower sat or lower visibility in general by let's say 20%, it provides room to create immersion. But I highly encourage messing around with those two variables

• mess with saturation of the monster
• mess with opacity

There are several ways you could go about it, in the end, you make the decision
