I wanted to try sketching my own Pokémon fusion but I had literally never drawn Mawile before (and it was only until later I found out what Mawile looked like from a head on perspective instead of side views so that kinda hampered things) but my main idea was a Mawile Drilblim fusion to have the big mouth become some kind of gumball machine since bubblegum and balloons are both things made of rubber that are inflatable, I might try sketching it again now that I know what Mawile looks like from a front view

I suggested a change to how we label sprites in #game-suggestions to make crediting artist easier, hopefully it gets implemented in game on on the calculator

That's the real problem with having so many sprites, any changes at this point is a gargantuan task
The only way to do it is to make the credit not necessary for the sprites so that all the old files are still usable while new sprite or resubmitions are properly credited.
Even so, it would still leave thousands of sprites uncredited

Unless someone starts a fan project geared solely towards gathering names to credit (which will ultimately wouldn't do much overall because simply knowing someone named Bob made it doesn't amount to a lot) manages to track down the artists of 30,000+ custom sprites made so far and is willing to update with 500+ new ones every month...

Competition fusions have to be able to be made in the game itself, if one or both pokemon aren’t in the actual game then it’s not accepted

The game is made with RPG Maker, I think XP in particular, and with Pokémon Essentials
It can’t handle the amount of Pokemon there is, and the only option to add more Pokémon is to switch to a much more powerful engine like Unity
Which is a lot less user friendly and would require a complete construction of the entire game, from the battles to the overworld, when RPG maker w/ essentials did it all for you
So for one dev it’s possible but will take like 200 thousand years and sleepless nights
