Usually that's more WiFi than anything else. Try just cycling off your WiFi and that should fix it

If your game is opening and immediately closing, you likely need to do a full reinstall in a new folder. You should be deleting all of your old game/launcher folders! DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW FILES!

Reinstalling on Windows does not affect Save Files in any way. For all other platforms, refer to the installation guides for your device!

For windows only!

If you're using the Launcher:

1. Delete your old launcher folder.
2. Reinstall version 1.1.2 of the launcher from HERE (Yes, even if you're already on 1.1.2)
3. Open the settings tab
4. Click "Reset Config"
   NOTE: The original path that the launcher shows will be your old game folder. That folder should be deleted. The new game folder will be in PIFLauncher(#.#.#)/GameFiles/InfiniteFusion
5. Install/Update the game files.

Wondering what the different game files are?

• InfiniteFusion.exe is the normal game. You don't need sprite packs as they are downloaded automatically with the latest sprites as you play.
• Game.exe is a duplicate of InfiniteFusion.exe that will likely be removed in a later update.
• InfiniteFusion-performance.exe is the lighter version of the game required to make it work on slower computers. It has long black screen start up and pc/party sprites are invisible until your next game restart. For new sprites, monthly sprite-packs must be downloaded manually.

Hello everyone, i've got an issue with the randomizer, i can't for the love of anything get my gyms to work properly, i select in the options to randomize gyms pokémon, but i put shuffle gym type to off and rerandomize on rematch to off too, but the result of this is that every pokemons are random with no type cohesion at all. Do i not understand something somewhere ?

Hey @prisma pendant! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

I will say without the fusion starter and just using the regular starters the tree in Oak's lab is intractable. But it just says "this is a complex plant and best not to mess with it" instead of nothing like the fused Pokemon or letting you reshuffle all the Pokemon like if the starters are randomized

To successfully import your own custom sprite, please follow these steps:

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers/Sprites to import.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups
4. Double click the folder of the save slot you’re reverting. Ex: File A
5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

Description: The first Pokemon in my party is displaying the sprite of a different Pokemon in my party, only during battles. The screenshots show a Snomy in battle. However, the Pokemon that is actually battling is my Zokin, but it's showing a Snomy sprite. I know this is the case, because both move sets in battle and in summary are for Zokin, and Zokin is in the first spot in my party.

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

I need some help, I turned auto save on and I got all the way past the poison gym leader but I went to continue playing today and I was back at gym one with all my pokemon that used to be all level 40+ except for a level 27 dudrio, machoke fusion back to levels 28 and below

I was in Bell Tower, and for some reason the same statue could have its switch flipped twice and it would open both gates without doing both sides of the puzzle. I did it one floor by accident, and then the next floor I was on I tried it again and it worked the same way.

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not download, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Double click the folder named backups

5. Rename the most recent file to File A.rxdata (The letter will be different if you’re reverting a different save slot)
6. Copy the newly renamed file and paste it into the previous folder. (This will be the folder you had open after step 2) When asked to replace, click yes.

Note: If you don't feel comfortable overriding the save, you can rename it to a different letter on step 5. Ex: File B.rxdata instead of File A.rxdata

issue was that i imported the files from my pc into blustacks and the way blustacks does that meant that i had to manually move them into the downloads folder when extracting them and creating a folder for them

i just set the proper paths when extracting and it seems fine

and yeah you can just hide the ugly phone gamepad overlay and play either with a keyboard or a controller so as long as its stable it's kinda nice

so there was a workaround afterall 😄

This game does not work while inside a OneDrive folder. If you see a status column in your game folder or your filepath has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause you several issues.

To Fix:

help please, when I start my game there are there are long periods of time where my game freezes. Specifically, when I, of course, start my game, when I enter a save and when I encounter a new Pokémon. (It also says "HGSS seems stuck" or something like that) If anyone can tell me what's wrong that would be nice.

I mean it says "RGSS seems stuck" specifically when I close the game.

It seems like there's a bug with resetting the game after capturing a static encounter, when autosave after capturing a pokemon is on

How to reproduce:

1. Set autosave setting "When catching pokemon" to "On"
2. Encounter a static pokemon
3. Catch the pokemon
4. Reset the game with f12 (don't know if it's necessary, just what I've been doing)
5. Load up the save and you will immediately be put into the battle

Trying this with Minior crashed my game. I couldn't even access other saves. I had to replace the file with a backup.

Yup. Just keep in mind, that does not download new sprites. For new sprites, you need to either be online for them to download automatically or you need to use the monthly spritepacks. (Or you can reinstall each month after I re-upload the files with the new spritesheets)

But sprites only get updated once a month so it’s not too big of a deal

It looks as if S21 Ultra is not on our list of compatible and incompatible devices which means nobody's tested. (S21 is there, but not S21 Ultra)

Try to start from scratch and make sure to follow the guide word for word and get both your game and joiplay from that guide. If it still gives you that compatibility error, it's possible your device simply isn't compatible
