Whenever I fuse pokemon, the sprite is missing in the pc/party It comes back when I update the game files but once I fuse something again that new one is once again missing. How do I fix this?

Also I wasn't having this issue on pc, I ported my save over to my asus ally. So I have a suspicion that's probably what's causing it but maybe there's a fix I don't know about.

all updating does is reset the sprites you already have in the game files [at least as of the 6.5.1 version]

game-performance is an alternate application in your InfiniteFusion game folder that can run the game, it is known to have some weird issues with party/box sprites not loading correctly, but shouldn't be affecting sprites in battle/the pokedex

Sprites come and go along with their permissions. noticed a magikarp sprite missing a while ago myself.

Deleted that last one as it may be out of date advice. @turbid terrace how do i fix invisible sprites, (kind of a hail mary to the bot)

#tech-support message think the option is slightly differently named but yeah if this doesnt fix it then the sprite was removed just go to the dex and change the sprite in use. or click on the mon go to summary and the last page on the right will allow you to do the same thing.

updating the game resets the sprites you have to whatever was available in your download at the time, any sprites the game grabbed are gone

best way to get most of the sprites is a fresh install of the game files, that has all but the 2 most recent packs by default

since all the pc related guides say to keep your game files there to avoid permission issues and one drive/cloud sync

I've had it opened multiple times lol but for some reason i cant find the file path to it now. I see my infinitefusion folder i created and than extracted to but if i click on it brings me right into the directory with "game or "Game-performance" Not a huge issue until i need to update the game again but just super confusing. I did uninstall if and then reinstall after running an update through the launcher once. game is running fine through either of the aforementioned methods but no clue where the pif launcher file/link went

If a sprite is on Infinite dex it should be in game right? meaning it shouldn't have been removed for any reason? Noticing more and more sprites have gone missing like a basic magikarp sprite few days back and now my starters sprite is missing too... all since running that update it messing up my sprites, so i reinstalled from the same zip i installed from initially. But still running into these issues thought it was normal but my charmelelon weepinbell combo sprite is still listed on infinite dex so now i'm questioning things.

also cant get the game to just display the algorithimic sprite combo either its just now an invisible starter...

updating resets your auto download in turn which means any sprites downloaded from the most recent two packs gets reset causing them to be invisible until they can be redownloaded again you'll just have to be patient until the game can download them again or just switch the sprites in the dex

game should let you switch the sprites no matter what unles syou somehow down have the pokedex but it should download as you fuse/see mons in the wild and battle with them it just takes time as theres so many sprites

To successfully import your own custom sprite, please follow these steps:

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers/Sprites to import.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

For context;
The game comes with all sprites preinstalled, except for the last 2 packs. The last 2 packs are in the auto-download feature.

However, the auto download does not have infinite speed or capacity. After downloading X amount of sprites per time unit Y, it will be paused for a bit.

That is the only way we can keep sprite hosting free.

Again, nothing wrong with your game. You just hit a download cap.

I have picked up the Network Adapter on Treasure Island and spoken to the scientist in the pokecentre on Knot Island. He has stold me that I have completed the quest (as you can see). To clean out your computer:

1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and fake data that the normal game doesn't have.
   🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there
3. Run a virus scan

On the old game version you'd have received a Sinnoh starter pokemon instead. On the new version you would have received the Box Link, but since you've already done the event, you can't do it again to get the new reward. Having another adapter won't affect it.
No matter though, I'm sure Ymir can reset the event for you.

Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Going to sound weird, but turn off WiFi/internet on your device and try again. For some reason, even though your internet might be working just fine, something about this game clogs it up. Once you are in game, if issue persists, turn off Download Data as well.

I'm having a bit of problem booting up the game. It's been a minute since I last played, so it asked me to update the installer. It asked me for Github logins, something I've never had to do, but I did it anyway, went through all the prompts and whatnot and it just reinstalled the same installation. Told me I had to redownload again, and it keeps just going in a loop of uninstalling, reinstalling and asking me to do it again. So I tried installing the new version it opens up in the mediafire link, and that works, it says it's updated to the newest version, but when I try to boot up the game nothing happens. Assuming the screen didn't freeze and you are seeing random fusions play out, you are supposed to press the key for "confirm" to go to the next screen.
Maybe try to reset to default and use space/enter to see if it works.

Hey @tender lily! To unlock randomized mode: Create a new game, save in Pallet Town, and create a 2nd new game. More options will appear since the 1st save is locked to Classic Mode.

Our randomizer doesn't offer true randomization meaning each Pokemon or item you find is **not ** going to be random each time. Instead we offer the below for Pokemon:
Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

Hey everyone I had played pokemon infinite fusion about 2 years ago and wanted to do another run. However upon reinstalling the game every time a sprite I haven't seen shows up I get approximately 30 seconds of black screen. My internet connection downloads at around 20MB/s with starlink. My computer runs recent games like Monster hunter wilds or Clair Obscur at 100+fps without issues. I've tried reinstalling the entire game using both available methods.

• Accordingly to all documents I could find, the fashion designer gives you the fusion beret and the splicer outfit when you show her any fusion
• Accordingly to all documents I could find, the scientist gives you the fusion outfit
  -> Because of the similarities in the name, someone thought the fusion outfit was matching with the fusion beret while the two are unrelated, and made the fusion outfit be obtainable the same way as the fusion beret, which was a mistake. Because the fusion beret matches the splicer outfit

I feel the same as when someone explains a weird complicated family tree

Or maybe it's a coincidence that I got the fusion outfit as my very first outfit and the problem is in fact my Lopunny

What's the format for new custom fusion sprites? (on Steam Deck).

I have these awesome Umbreon/Espeon fusion sprites from Veiling Penubra, but they don't appear in game and I wanted to add them as cutsom sprite options.

I added the pngs as is to the: "graphics/custombattlers/spritesheets/spritesheets/spritesheets_custom"

And then added them to the 196 and 197 folders continuing with the number and letter file naming sequentially. For 196, that wasa "196m.png" and "196n.png"

But, they dont appear in game after adding them

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.
2. Naming Convention: Name your sprite according to the game's dex numbering. For example, a fusion of Aegislash and Goodra should be named 329.446.png.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers/Sprites to import.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

if you did check alts and still dont see them, what is happening is that you are simply hitting download caps.
consider adding the latest 2 spritepacks manually if you want to avoid caps or plan on playing without internet.

The game comes with all sprites preinstalled, except for the last 2 packs.
The last 2 packs are in the auto-download feature. You do not need to do anything for them.

However, the auto download does not have infinite speed or capacity.
After downloading X amount of sprites per time unit Y, it will be paused for a bit.
That is the only way we can keep sprite hosting free.

Attempting to view sprites that have not been downloaded through this feature yet will show them as invisible.
the first time you encounter a base mon, it will select a random one of all sprites, if it is a new one that hasnt been downloaded yet > invisible.
same goes for fusions but with a little more nuance. to keep it simple, think of it the same.
Again, nothing wrong with your game. You just hit a download cap.

Side note; Updating your game resets all your auto-downloaded sprites. do not attempt to "fix" this with updating. It will just make everything start from the beginning.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.4.2, double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.4.2, you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

The guides should have a warning against moving the folder outside of the downloads.
"My documents" and "Desktop" usually cause many problems (in part due to one drive).

Onedrive causes many issues in and out of the game. If you see a status column in your game folder or your path has onedrive, that means your game folder is synching to OneDrive and will cause many issues.

To Fix:

1. Move your InfiniteFusion folder to your C:\Users\Your Name\Downloads folder
2. Open the .git folder (use screenshot below if you don't see it) and delete the file named shallow.lock
3. Rerun INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat afterwards to redownload any files OneDrive deleted.

Im having an issue where the trainers i can repeatably battle randomly switch to completely new pokemon every single battle
During this time i was running around completing quests and leveling pokemons by repeatably fighting the same trainer.
They initially had a Vaporeon/Articuno fusion, and moved to Machoke/Hapiny then lucario/Rapidash(Ignore Sprite Error it just didnt load properly), to Nidoran(M)/Mankey. This happens with all trainers not just this one. I would be willing to stream it live to someone to show the issue

Hey @solar stag! Looking for the Pokéradar? You can obtain it from Professor Oak's Assistant on Route 24, but she only appears after you meet her in the Cerulean Pokécenter.

When you use the Pokéradar, a repel automatically activates and grass will shake. This indicates which tile the Pokémon is in. If you are having issues with the encounters fleeing or need more info, use the Wiki Page: Wiki LINK
