The error you are having is due to a corrupted save in your save folder conflicting with your current save.

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click SaveFile
3. Delete the save file causing issues.
4. If you don't know which it is, you can remove the save 1 by 1 from this folder until you find it

Anybody know how to put custom sprites in mobile? I have the sprites I want to use but when I go to the custom battlers folder there's a bunch of stuff that doesn't line up with what's on PC and a bunch of stuff that also won't open correctly. I need some help downloading infinite fusion on my phone. It is an android, and it is one of the models the android download guide says is supported. Everything was working as I followed the guide until step 8, when I was supposed to find the game.exe file on joiplay. That made me notice my infinitefusionandroid folder looks way different than what the guide shows. Another weird thing was that the infinitefusionandroid.zip extracted in under a minute, rather than the 45+ mins the guide said, so maybe something went wrong during the extraction? I don't know how to fix it though

had to be removed thanks to the need of swapping sprite repo hosts [we used to be on gitlab, but they nuked it]

the new host that is used costs frog some money, but if we go over some cap that only he knows about, it will cost way more

so sprites can't all be downloaded at once from the new repo otherwise that would immediately hit that

My PC's security was trying to scan the sprites as they imported for malware, thinking they were being freshly downloaded in that moment.

So every single sprite was taking several times longer to import, and that made the whole thing time out.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Decided to come back to this and update it, ran into some issues with my old launcher, but I ended up manually downloading the new launcher which let me update fine.

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers/Sprites to import.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

Importing a sprite shouldn’t touch others. Check the dex and see if you just need to re-select them for some reason

To change a Pokemon's sprite to an alternative one, go to their Pokedex entry (this can be done from their summary screen) and go to the "Sprites" tab. Here you can scroll through the different available sprites.

ok. the only reason I really asked that is cause I have it set so that the fusions have the DNA showing instead of the head/body sprites and I thought it was gonna be the same

maybe caused they hatched from eggs that the DNA sprite doesn't work?

Courtney I have another question about my situation, is there any way to make it automatically just choose one of the sprites? I just went through the pokedex and fixed all the pokemon I have seen, but the issue is that I haven't found all of the base game's pokemon so the pokemon I haven't seen yet may still be invisible

In theory, it should pick them automatically. The problem seems to be that it checks the credits rather than checking if the sprites are actually downloaded so if the sprite isn’t downloaded, it’ll show invisible.

So there’s a credit sheet that has a list of all of the sprites. It checks that list and says “oh there should be a sprite here” and selects it even if the sprite doesn’t exist in the files (yet)

A bit of both. Certain actions trigger additional sprites to download such as battling, looking through the dex, etc. it should prioritize sprites that you need but I can’t guarantee that it does as I haven’t looked at that part of the code personally

wait, are the "normal" version of each pokemon supposed to be the first sprite in the sheet, or where they are normally found on other sheets? Like is bulbasaur supposed to be in the first slot, or in the bulbasaur slot on both of them

if i'm not mistaken, the imported sprites are saved under \Graphics\CustomBattlers\local_sprites\indexed under each head sprite number folder? at least mine were, if you delete that, it should fix it?

Probably. My indexed folder is completely empty and I haven’t imported any sprites

I also figured out why updating didn’t work. Froggo added a .gitkeep to the folder so it wouldn’t yeet imported sprites

yeah, i only imported a few that i tweaked slightly so far, so i could check the folders and see they were all sprites i remembered importing for one thing or another rather than spritesheets it compiled or similar so that should be the culprit folder

if you wanted to backup any that you wanted to re-import, you can also of course relocate that in a backup index folder if you wanted to, but if that isn't a big deal then you're safe to delete it and it should also have the missing sprites

I think that’s from Feb pack, but yea it should auto download eventually. You could also just manually import that sprite if it’s being particularly stubborn for some reason
