I've downloaded the Android install files and put everything onto the SD card - is there any way to check to make sure all the sprites are downloaded/available? I won't have internet connection during the flight. I've checked inside the /Data/sprites folder but there's only a few files in there. To successfully import your own custom sprite, please follow these steps:

Sprite Requirements:

1. Format: The sprite must be in .png format.

Many fixes were implemented in 6.4.5. Please reupdate your game and then do the following after:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center
2. Talk to Help Man (usually 2F of Pokemon Center)

1. Can the save files be malware?

How to restore to a backup save

This only works if you had Auto Save turned on and using 6.4+

1. Open your game folder

I tried installing the game first time on a Steam Deck following the latest Youtube video (v6.4+).

Everything seems to be downloading correctly (except a few missing song notifications) but after finishing, the script automatically deletes all (I think, most at least) downloaded files. Didn't see anything doing a quick search and I would appriciate help.

Yeah, I ment that video guide and downloaded the mediafire folder extracted it etc. I then ran the "INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat" and it does download the files from git, then deletes them.

If I understood correctly now, that is only needed for updating.

Yup correct! That script is if a new update comes up (we on 6.4.5, so like when 6.4.6 comes out).

But running that script should be working. it sounds like it is running into an error. Common one is connection/internet related, but yeah a screenshot of that window would help.

I have no idea though why, I have mostly default deck, except some basic tweaking for getting Mod Organizer 2, Vortex and EmuDeck to work. And the directory is the default download folder on the ssd.

Though I have learned I'm incompatible with Linux, the case sensitivity has caused lots of headache when modding etc.

unfortunatelly that is the only thing you can do is make space on your C drive. I am not sure how much space though since i am not sure how winrar works entirely. If it is the same as the game, about 2-3 gbs

you should also use the app on your computer named Disk Cleanup, this will clear out old, leftover, trash files on your pc

Yeah, I deleted the folder, it had mostly leftover folders left anyway.

The game works fine though when using just the extracted folder.

Only thing different from a standard deck I can think of is the system language, which for me is Finnish. Ä and Ö have caused some issues with some programs, for example in save names, though this isn't relevant in this spesific case.

Wondering what the different game files are?

• Game.exe is the normal game. You don't need sprite packs as they are downloaded automatically with the latest sprites as you play.
• Game-performance.exe is the lighter version of the game required to make it work on slower computers. It has long black screen start up and pc/party sprites are invisible until your next game restart. For new sprites, monthly sprite-packs must be downloaded manually.

yeah try again or use our alt download. Just FYI, if your computer has onedrive, the desktop tries synching the game files to the cloud breaking the game. We recommend having the game in your Downloads folder instead since it doesn't synch there

I am still playing at 5.2.1 because I dont want my current typings to change. But I noticed that my game does not seem to have the newest sprites, despite haven auto downloads turned on.
Has the support of this version run out in terms of sprites?

Its still dropping packets.
that can happen at many stages, your router, wifi signal especially (if you use it), even at your pc/laptop.

you normally dont notice dropped packets (you aren't notified of anything, neither will the connection symbol change.)
most programs have built in buffers and/or retries of packet fetching. Git does not, because it wants to ensure 100% data matches over anything else.

Trying to edit code to enable cheats will **NOT **work. Magic boots are only available from in game rewards by catching the 501 Base Pokemon.

The only help we will provide to "fix" your issue is to give you the information to delete your game folder and reinstall using the files in #downloads message. This does not affect your save files.

graphics driver update is enough in this situation no worries 🙂 but yes their saves and such are safe.

Some laptops for whatever reason, force you to update the graphics driver whenever a new update relases instead of making it an option 😅
