Extraction must have failed on your end or your computer isn’t loading the sprites locally. This happens to someone else and they had to restart the game multiple times

Just a question regarding the workaround for the Sprite Server issue. Is the workaround just another way to launch the game that pulls the sprites from its files? With that in mind is it just a temporary way to play with the sprites still visible and once the server is back to working order can I just launch the game from the normal launcher?

When randomizing the game, you can only randomize Trainers and Gym leaders if you are playing Classic or Randomized Mode.

Randomizing trainers on Remix and Expert Mode will crash trainer battlers.

Steps:

1. Go to a Pokemon Center and talk to Help Man (guy in black suit)
2. Select Advanced Settings -> Randomizer Settings -> Turn Trainers/Gyms OFF

I've been playing on my steam deck for a while and saved and exited in Ilex forest, near the section for Meloeta's quest. When launching the game, I can get to the point where I select my file, but when I do I get the following error:

After removing the file that was illegitimately debugged, and reinstalling a clean file, I still had the save I was screwing around and cheating with. Do I delete this or can I keep and still be able to grab the dex completion role if I start an entire new save and get magic boots properly

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Click Settings -> Click Open Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Go back to the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game

• the game is too complex, there are 200.000 different pokemon if you count fusions
• there are too many sprites +- 300.000 files
• we do live service sprite updates, cant do that on a rom
• we have frequent game updates with new content / bug fixes, cant do that easily on a rom
• we use entirely different code languages - the whole game would have to be rewritten (ignoring all the issues above)

just FYI, if you have an anti virus, it is trying to scan all files as it is extracting. Might want to pause it to reduce overhead of extraction. Someone else paused theirs and it ran much faster

Well, after I redownload and fix the game, can I have help as to why when my Azumarill/Vigaroth fusion who had Huge Power from Azumarill lost it and switched to Slaking's ability when it evolved to Azumarill/Slaking?

I even tried unfusing them and for some reason Azumarill suddenly had thick fat instead of Huge Power...

how abilities work is that you can only pick from abilites the pokemon have before fusion. if you unfuse a pokemon the head gets rerolled to a completely new mon meaning it can change what ability it has. my best guess is you thought you clicked huge power when you didnt by mistake

But that's what's weird, my Azumarill/Vigoroth who I've been using for a couple days now had Huge Power, I KNOW it did because I hadn't played in a year and was reading what abilities each of my pokemon had and forgot that Huge Power was even a thing, so that's why I'm so confused as to how it lost it when it evolved to Slaking and suddenly had Truant even though it had Azumarill's ability before. That's good to know about the unfusing though, thank you!

So, conceivably, if it happens again when I get my save fixed, I can just unfuse them over and over again until I get Huge Power azumarill again? As long as I save I mean before that and don't save after?

best guess I can make there is you did have huge power, but you were likely making use of how abilities used to work, in that it was tied to the species, not the mon;

i.e., the order of the fusion meant certain abilities, even if the mon didn't have them, would make it show up in the fusion screen

basically, you had a maril or azumaril and fused it with slakoth or vigoroth as the body of the fusion, thus making huge power show up on the fusion screen, you then reversed the fusion for the better atk stat and took your extended break

Hi all. So I manually added a fusion sprite in custombattlers, it shows in the sprite selection of the fused pokemon but remain "?" On the actual pokemon. Someone knows how to fix this?

usually you have to select it from the Sprite Tab to override it and close and reopen the menu to see the change

if you want to change it, use the pokedex to change sprites

Cause it was weird restarting the save and finding it changing sprites, such as this one:

but after that it goes by super fast until you hit like the 50s or 70s iirc

then it does another big download, but its not as long as the 23% one

Workaround

We uploaded the Lightweight Installer with ALL Sprites to fix the issue: CLICK HERE for DOWNLOAD.

• Download, Extract to a new folder, Open Game.exe. Nothing else needs to be done.
• This carries over your save file, you don't need to move or download anything else.

Your game folder has a shortcut to this folder named: Savefile
Each save file represents the save slot you saved into. Example: If you saved into Slot A, your save is named File A.rxdata

If you want to transfer it, copy the save file into the same location above on the new computer.
