Actually the problem lies deeper, something made saving completely impossible

On a fresh save this error pops up upon first saving, regardless of autosave being on or off

How the game worked for the first 20ish hours is beyond me, i'll try to reinstall and see from there

This happens because your prior save file was corrupted. This is complaining that you have a corrupted save in your game folder

Hey guys im getting some trouble and hoping to get some help. the game has been taking a very long time to load 5 minutes every time i reset the game or see a new pokemon fusion. is this an issue with me downloading the sprites pack or is this just to be excepted due to the game being rather large in size. i have it on an ssd which is why i was concerned about load time

without sprites it hovers around like maybe 1 or 2GB, with sprites it pushes to 4GB currently

but the sprite loading is more based on your internet

so you will likely benefit from setting up preloaded and turning the download sprites option off

Well I found a roundabout way to move the save file around. Not exactly clean but it does work so I'll take it. Just copy the save file to the SSD, and then copy it to the roaming infinite fusion folder that's made on launch

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

As #downloads states, preloaded is a lower end version of the game, which includes this issue here. Every time you restart the game, they will appear but new fusions will have blank sprites until you restart again.

If you have randomizer set to always fused and go to route 22 for example, you will get about 5 base mon encounters. But throughout the day cycle, you will get random fusions that will always include the base mons so about ~15 different combinations.

Hi everyone, I need help I cannot get the game to run on my phone. Here is what's going on:

I followed all the instructions carefully from the official guide (here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBfNahsoGbM ) the game opens but I can't play due to these issues: 1) if I click "Options", I get black screen and no inputs work, and 2) If I click "New game", character creation works until I click "Name", then I get the black screen again (music plays) no inputs work, 3) If I click "New game", character creation works if I skip inputting name it auto-fills default name and then a text bubble pops up without any text and no inputs work. Sidenote, I have tried using on screen controls as well as connecting a BT keyboard to my phone, nothing works. Waited over five minutes, also button mashed everything including space bar, no pokemon keyboard ever pops up and nothing gets me past these frozen screens. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Joiplay and the RPG Plugin. I tried loading into Joiplay all 3 of the "games" (Game.exe, ...default.exe, and ...preloaded.exe) I'm using a Google Pixel 8 Pro and I only downloaded files according to this guide (game version 6.2.3), never had Joiplay or anything else installed until following this guide. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks~!

1. Hard restarted my phone
2. Went to settings -> Apps or Storage (I forget) -> JoiPlay and cleared out the Cache
3. Then opening the game and just left it open for a while and it worked afterwards.

Lightweight Installer Update:

2. Double click 'INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat'

I know it's been a while but I'm trying to setup the infinite fusion on my android and i have the infinite fusion files on my phone but when i extract it, my phone doesn't have the "infinite fusion android" option again like it does in the tutorial. It only has the infinite fusion setup.bat or readme.md, the lib, and minGit files. When I choose the infinite fusion folder from the JoiPlay app it only lists the lib and minGit files.

Not sure if it's a bug or intended behavior, playing on android, but at the very end of Rock Tunnel, close to the Route 10 exit, there's this Cool Trainer Laura whose rematch is with her full team, but said full team seems to never level up as you rematch her.
Also she always gives out a hyper potion and a money reward and that feels like it may be an oversight

The only thing expert does is optimize trainer teams, randomizing trainers would 100% defeat the whole purpose of expert

Hi, long time lurker, last played about a year ago so a very old version. so I've tried multiple times to download this, using everything provided here, no luck. had to resort to the MediaFire "download the whole game" thing, except MediaFire for some reason refuses to finish the download and instead restarts the whole thing. is there an alternative to that?

Delete your game folder (this doesn't delete your save) and Download the game from here: Link

Extract it into a new folder and open Game.exe from it. This will make sure you have fresh game data and also the correct files.

This is just sign of internet stability issues. That means you tried downloading the game normally through our game repo and didnt work. You tried with our app installer with better network code and that didnt work. And you tried downloading from a different source and that didnt work neither.

weird thing is, i tried the alternate Google Drive of the setup.zip and that worked absolutely fine, the MediaFire one did the same, it got to 95% then restarted. I'll try again later then see if that works

Hey @gloomy tulip! This game is developed ONLY for Windows. Joiplay is a workaround to get Android to work, but iOS will not work.

Check our Official Android guide HERE. If you didn't follow this guide, DELETE and UNINSTALL everything.

All Android bugs/workarounds are in the guide. If your issue isn't listed, there's no fix. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

You can enable Debug Mode by catching all 470 base Pokemon in a non-randomized file. After doing so, the Developer in Celadon will reward you with Magic Boots. For an additional reward you can ping a moderator to give you a cool dex completion role, proof screenshot required.
