Yeah you need to have Found Items turned on for the vending machine to randomize

Ex: if your potions were randomized to pokeballs, every potion in the game is now a pokeball

Old data in your Game folder is crashing or causing issues with your game. To fix:

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

App Installer:

1. Open the App -> Installation Menu -> Update Game (this will delete the Data folder and bring it back for you)

Afterwards, reopen the game.

Why do we have sprite packs? If you have unstable internet, you can use the sprite packs to install them manually using this Guide.

Hey @wicked rivet! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

but when you update a randomized game, you need to rerandomize your settings

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

there could be an update to your audio driver. This happens on some laptops for graphics drivers as well. The game will be working then crash cause of a graphics issue. Ppl's computers for some reason break the game to let them know there is an update lol not sure why that is

There should be switches. If you enable the switch, that means it adds a NoMedia file to that folder so all the images/audio from that folder won’t go into your gallery

It will remove them from your gallery the next time your android scans for media or sometimes phone restart speeds it up

Git has locked your game folder from updating. To fix:

1. Open your game folder.
2. Enable the setting to view hidden files. How to do that
3. Delete the .git folder you will see in your folder now
4. Delete your Data folder (This will reset your game data, but it will keep your save data)

6. Double click Game to open the game.

Importing Your Sprite:

1. Ensure your sprite meets the criteria above.
2. Open your game folder and navigate to Graphics/CustomBattlers.
3. Paste your sprite into this folder.

In-Game Instructions:

1. Launch the game.
2. The game will automatically detect the new sprites.
3. If you have an existing sprite that you're replacing, select the option "Replace All the old sprites with the new ones" when prompted.

Hey, this might not be a tech support question but currently in some randomized playthroughs, they are all exactly the same. Like in one save I will have certain mons on a route and in the other randomized save it will be the exact same fused mons.

there is only 1 randomised encounter file, so no matter how often you start a randomizer, after reshuffling it will be the same encounters in the other save files

How to Reset your Sprite Pull:

1. Open your menu in game and select Options.
2. Go to the option named Download Spritesand turn it OFF.
3. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm at the bottom or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
4. Open options again and turn Download Sprites back ON.
5. Save your game and close it.
6. Reopen the game and your sprites should appear.

Playing Pokemon Infinite Fusion on Steamdeck.
Issue: The game drops frames per second when surfing. On land the FPS is 40 with no movement up or down. When surfing it drops tp 17 FPS. Does anyone know any performance tips to fix this FPS drop? Command lines, settings elsewhere on the Steamdeck, or settings in the game to solve this issue?

That is just how the game performs on Steam Deck. This game is only optimized for Windows, so Wine and Proton for Steam Deck does the best it can to optimize on the Steam Deck.

yeah they change their links for the "game" very often and had ppl come in here with viruses or had to restore their computer. Most times from a virus standpoint, it isn't that serious, but you never know what they will add

Also not to mention that their files aren't the real game. It isn't using our data and has many bugs and softlockes that don't exist in the real game

Hey @vast island! This game is developed ONLY for Windows. Joiplay is a workaround to get Android to work, but iOS will not work.

Check our Official Android guide HERE. If you didn't follow this guide, DELETE and UNINSTALL everything.

All Android bugs/workarounds are in the guide. If your issue isn't listed, there's no fix. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

So a few version ago, I had a debug feature. I don't wanna cheat the game, but it's really useful for Nuzlockes and rare candies. Is there a way to get this feature back?

You can enable Debug Mode by catching all 470 base Pokemon in a non-randomized file. After doing so, the Developer in Celadon will reward you with Magic Boots. For an additional reward you can ping a moderator to give you a cool dex completion role, proof screenshot required.

Your save file is located in: C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\InfiniteFusion. The game folder has a shortcut to this folder named: Savefile
Each save file represents the save slot you saved into. Example: If you saved into Slot A, your save is named File A.rxdata

Lightweight Installer Update:

1. Open your game folder
2. Double click 'INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat'

App Installer Update:

1. Open the App
2. Click Installation Menu -> Update Game -> Click Update

Both options will update the game files for you. If it didn't, rerun the update and wait for it to finish. Take and share a screenshot of the window to #tech-support

Thanks yall. I got it running. I will say somehow a long time ago. Iirc 5.3 sometime around. I managed to get the launcher working, and it actually updated itself on steamdeck. It was janky as can be, but it worked. But I took a long break from the game, and since then it tried to update, and completely bricked itself.
